Never do a serious beard trim at home unless you have to. Wait until you’re on the road and clog up the hotel drains.

Always call to complain that your rental smells like smoke within 30 minutes of picking it up. Then feel free to rip heaters the entire trip.

If you’re a Hilton diamond member, dispute any and all room charges. It works 75% of the time. They would rather erase the charges than argue with you over a burger and 2 pornos.

I have a lot more tips/tricks with credit cards, but I’ll add that you should always check your rental for Apple/Android car play. Nothing worse than not having it and you’re in a city you don’t know and have to stare at your phone to figure out where to drive to next.

Also, getting upgraded to luxury cars (like a Mercedes) is not always worth it. Some of them don’t have a USB adapter in the car.

Take a blacklight with you and enter every hotel room at your own risk. Its awful when you see the body fluid stains all over the room

Oh I do have one: Dont leave your suitcases in your shed next to the fertilizer when you’re not using them or you will be getting up close and personal with the TSA

Lol. Have a nurse friend who had an issue with TSA once, after she had mixed some nitroglycerin for a patient the night before. It impressed me they could detect that.

The other night I was staying at a Marriott. It was like 1 AM, I was drunk. I walked up to the counter to ask for a bottle opener and the black clerk backed up suddenly as if I had the plague and said I can’t help you if you don’t have a mask. I said I don’t wear a mask, then called her a sheep and baaahhhhed at her.

At the Denver Airport take the escalator up that is closest to the food court in the middle of terminal. Bathroom with 8 stalls that are never used and great place to poop.
The upstairs at the Denver airport is always a ghost town. Well, besides the new AmEx lounge, but you can’t just walk in there. I’ve definitely used it to drop a deuce.

When you arrive at your room, take your shirts out of your suitcase and put them on hangers immediately. Hang them up on the shower rod and crank the shower on as hot as it will go. The steam pulls the wrinkles out in no time. I find the nearest watering hole and start drinking. Meanwhile, my idiot coworker is still ironing his shirts.

When traveling with my assistant coach I always hand him the keys to pass out to players while I bee line for our room where I christen the shitter with a massive road crap that’s been brewing for hours. Whilst taking said shit, I crank the shower on as hot as it goes and steam it up and draw a big dick n’ balls on the mirror. Then when he gets out of the shower later there’s a ghost cock to greet him.

been doing it for 10 years and it never gets old.

Any helpful credit cards tips.
Do you travel often, and if so, how often? Fly, drive? Loyal to any specific brands? If you fly, which airport do you fly out of? Do you book your own travel or do you have to book through a third party?

Hilton Aspire card is great. I do about 50-60 nights a year, but the perks are great. You won’t get credit for the 15x points on spend since you use a corporate card. It’s a $450 annual fee, but the fee easily pays for itself if you know what you’re doing.

Do you do a lot of layovers in Cincy since you’re in Dayton? If so and you fly Delta, the AmEx Platinum could be worth it. It gets you into the Delta lounge when flying with them. It’s a steeper fee at $550, but also easy to recoup the fee. However, you’d be very limited if you don’t book your own flights. It’s best used for 5x on flight purchases.

Personally, I’d go with the Aspire in your situation. Below are a few of the perks. I got a lot of help from tMB thread and NDcorby especially. I’m happy to answer any other questions you maybe have. I’ve become a big credit card geek since I travel so much.

Thanks. I have the Hilton Honors AMEX. $99 annual fee but get one free weekend night per year which pays for it. It’s my normal use card for dining out, etc so I rack up 80K points a year easily. Enough to get free, upgraded suites for 5-10 days a year for my vacations.

Never fly through Cincy. Most layovers are in American hubs…Charlotte or Dallas.

I’m in Charlotte and apologize if you have to layover in Terminal E. 😂

I’m looking at these Hilton CC’s trying to decide which one to apply for

I would imagine 50 nights at a Hilton next year

Hotel lobbies are great spots to poop when driving.
I'm visualizing Rva dropping his pants and dropping a massive log in the middle of a hotel lobby, all while never breaking eye contact with the front desk clerk.
