• Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

Will windows 11 require a proof of vax to use?

Me thinks so. You gotta have your Microsoft stamp to play computers

People laugh about this statement ....

But a little under two years ago we were told we had two weeks to "flatten the curve", masks were a temporary measure, and that people weren't going to take a shot that Donald Trump made.

Here we are almost 2 years later and some are advocating a "Covid Zero" approach, masks are still here, and Kamala is slurping people to get the shot that Trump made.

So nothing is out of the question in the future.

Operating systems generally don't have such requirements, and their main focus remains on technical aspects like system compatibility and user experience.

If you're interested in upgrading to Windows 11, I would recommend checking the official Microsoft website or other reliable sources for the most up-to-date information on system requirements and any potential changes in their policies. Additionally, if you're concerned about the cost, you can still explore windows key reddit to find cost-effective options for obtaining a Windows key for your upgrade.
