Really dig AEnima but 10,000 Days has been wearing on me. Right in Two might be favorite song.

This album was the peak intersection of creativity and maturity for them. The albums before were more raw, less dynamic. And the albums since haven’t contributed anything new.

They don't have a bad one, but Fear Inoculum takes what is best from all albums and brings them together, IMO.

Lateralus came out when I was in high school, so that's when I got hooked. Love older albums....raw and aggressive. But they went to another stratosphere once Lateralus hit. Lateralus and Fear Inoculum might be my favorite two, with 10000 Days behind them.

The drums in Fear Inoculum are fucking ridiculous with all kinds of out there time signatures. Its like "lead drums" at times, very forward in the mix. Huge sound.

Amazing band that doesn't bullshit around releasing garbage music. If it takes 10 years between albums, you know that shit is gonna be some of the most out of this world music you've ever heard.
