ThreadBot is the only bot on the forum. He periodically looks at the Verizon Media board and deems threads as “hot” (usually by a certain number of replies in a certain time frame).

He informs us when a hot thread is posted and then we decide if we want it to post on our site. We are working out the kinks, but we want to make sure that we scrape everything interesting off that board for the benefit of our community here.

He’s a very good boy.

ThreadBot represents an indestructible paragon of relentless objectivity destined to be the first "self-aware" of TFSF's metal masterminds. @Croot_Overlord be sure to have a remote self-destruct portal in place IF it starts showing early signs of liberalism. Things to watch for: (1) Lowering of Processing Power (2) Lying (3) Cheating (4) Stealing (5) More lying (6) Body odor (7) Small, very small dick or flat chested depending on gender identification (8) Complaining and blaming others (9) Wants to practice throwing bricks (10) Promotes giving everyone a trophy so no one is offended.
