Check in with this thread all week for breaking news and glimpses into the pageantry and history of the greatest college football rivalry game played in the greatest venue with the largest State Fair as the backdrop.

OU sucks

LOL, Kirby is not even working on Mississippi State this week.

He is already working on bringing about the destruction of Texas. He is planning it as we speak.

UGA will also take a huge poop on your field and no one will pick it up.

HORNS DOWN MFERS!!!!!

Sir, this is a Wendy's.

This is the Texas-OU thread. Texas-Georgia will warrant it's own thread next week.

edit: this was just announced so I will add this Tweet here. LFG

The game needs to be moved to on campus play. For the past 60+ years, neither team has had to venture into the other team's home field to play. All the other conference teams didn't have the same advantage. Neither will the SEC teams. The same could be said about GA v FL. Play home and home and not neutral site.

I like you as a poster, but this is the gayest post ever typed out on this forum. This game shall never be moved from the dilapidated Cotton Bowl. The Cotton Bowl and Fair Park are forever a part of the sanctity and mystique of the rivalry.

Plus, what's a few stabbings on the way to the parking lot...NBD.

You haven't lived until you have partied well into the night at a front yard BBQ w 3 generations of a South Dallas family after you have paid them $20 to park in their yard for the afternoon. Pork rib sandwiches on Wonder bread ftw.

That 2008 game was the second best college football game I've ever attended. After the game, drove back to Austin with a group of friends for Widespread Panic at The Backyard. Todd Nance wore a Colt McCoy jersey on stage that night. RIP The Backyard and Todd Nance.
