One time I went to jury duty and it was the first time i passed through a metal detector. I was thinking about it the whole time. I got released early and didn't have to be jury. On the way out I noticed a service man who refused the detector and they used a pat down and a wand on him instead. I wish I knew I had the option. I don't know if I would willingly pass through them.
