Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

Ugh…..not really. Think of it from this prospective……having the faggit coach 2-3 more games would have done more than 7.5 mil in damage to the program. This is akin to the Mulllllen deal. It was worth far more than 40 mil to get UF back on track and stop the damage done in recruiting…..of course UF hired a Downsy coach that will just continue the trend.

I would argue that their program is a joke and has been for years, so a few more games wouldn't matter. The only reason that makes sense is that they only have one more game this month, but it's against Oklahoma, so I guess they decided to eat the full buyout to not risk him beating them and making it harder to axe him.

Had a Neb guy move down to work with us last year and we discussed Frost……he immediately start listing things the fans and university needed to do and basically absolved Frost of everything…..then told me everyone he knows back home feels Frost just needs a few more years to turn it around……(under my breathe I mumbled….decades.
