This came in an email from the school today on covid policies going forward. Can anyone provide a half decent argument for why unvaccinated students would be required to quarantine if they were a close contact?

If the vaccine doesn't prevent transmission why would one group be forced to quarantine and not the other?

Last year vaccination status affected the way teachers were handled when they were exposed.

I could see it playing out this way: have the kids actually wanting to get vaccinated is when the make the unvaxxed where masks while the others don’t. They are going to want to get rid of their mask and start begging their parents to get vaccinated

My workplace has about 8,000 employees. Prior to December 1st 2021 (vaccine mandate) there were 400 positive tests. Between December 1st 2021 and April 7, 2022, there were 1,200 positive tests, they stopped publishing after that.
Once Omicron hit, the vaccines were useless for stopping the spread.

Agree, but the problem is that the schools aren't allowing this. At the local schools, in order to play sports (depending on the current covid rating, which is currently at "high" as determined by the governor) you have to either be vaccinated, or tested every week. Somehow these idiots, despite all of the other evidence, think that if you've received the jab, you can't contract it or pass it to others.

It's just amazing to me. There's enough studies at this point for the powers that be to clearly see how ineffective the jabs are. So to make policies based on a crappy vaccine, while also ignoring immunity of people who have already had covid, and recovered, is mind boggling.

Purebloods should just start their own schools within their communities. No mask.. no test just living their best life without the outside noise of politics..form their own events and sports leagues. Wife and I have a huge disagreement on school choices for our kids but I refuse to have my money support the policies the private schools are pushing.

I have one child (out of 4) left in private school because he needs a little extra help. But last year i had to tell the principle that we weren't doing any Covid testing and that he would be coming to school ready, willing and able to learn and if she wanted to have him removed from campus that was her prerogative. She is the one that sent the email in my original post in this thread. The covid worshippers are really like a cult. I just don't understand, when the "vaccine" doesn't prevent spread, how it matters to another individual if they are vaccinated or not. There is no logical jump that can be made to justify that statement.

Another private school my kids went to established a board that was basically an anti-racism / reparations board that was supposed to help the school apologize for its "racist past." They continually give "scholarships" to kids that "qualify" by not being white. In other words, white kids pay full tuition while non white kids get subsidized tuition paid for by the white people. (obviously its a huge lib school)

I just can't have my hard earned money going to support that no matter how "good" a school is supposed to be. Quite frankly its disgusting to me. Wife kept trying to get me to split tuition with her parents but i adamantly refused saying that if she / they wanted our kids to go there then they would have to foot 100% of the bill.

Anyway, I'll end my rant. Wish we had more private school choices around here but to be honest the public school are great in our neighborhood and I'm fine with that.

The “top” school in Huntsville is like that and very “progressive”

Where my girls go they don’t tolerate any of that. It’s not considered the best of the private schools but still far and away better when it comes to providing an education than anywhere else in town.
