I just got done fixing a huge washout problem in my ditch. When I put in a retaining wall a couple years back, it made everything drain into one spot, over that time it created a huge gash in the wall of the ditch that runs up agains my driveway. Did some kind of French drain deal and planted a boxwood shrub at the top. Might post pics later. It’s not real pretty, mainly just functional.

Now I’m laying on the bed about to get a power nap. Stayed up too late making lane kiffin gifs

I'm trying to figure a way to give back. Considering becoming a poll worker with my parents, or maybe delivering boxes of liquor edit: and ice cream to the nearest middle class neighborhood.

It's still a great idea. I'm game, I just need to process my current workload.

Cool man. We are working something. It's like from the beginning of the site, we try things, most don't work, we try and do it better, still most don't work, and then eventually something might work. At least we've got a solid product that is fully established with the forum. The rest of the accoutrements are a work in progress

Our main focus (and success) outside of maintaining the site lately is social media. We have grabbed about 1100 followers in Insta and 650 on twitter in basically half a year.

Hanging out w folks bc I missed mothers day w a badly burnt hand. Watching the Cardinals play BB. I haven't watched a BB game on TV in 30+years.

Had a radiator hose from an overheated forklift blow on the top of my left hand. It was maybe a 2 in pain. Nothing like when I dump boiling grease down my right leg making fries at 345am. That one was an 8.

Just way too busy right now to try things like this right now. There are basically 3 of us with full time jobs (and families) that run it. We are seeing some growth, so if we can just keep the ship floating a couple years I think we will have a ton of opportunity. We get enough from donations to cover the expenses, so we will keep getting stronger over time.

We drove out to Lake Tawakoni yesterday for some family camping this weekend. Enjoying the sunshine and cool water. We bought a travel trailer back in March so we got A/C if it gets too hot. No more tent camping for this guy.

Threw 2 small briskets on the smoker, played catch and worked on my sons pitching, went swimming, had some hanky panky with my wife, had some lunch and played a couple games of yahtzee. Just went out and wrapped the brisket a bit ago. Now watching some TV and enjoying some conversations with my FSF friends. Solid day and its not even 3 pm yet.
