There have been many posts of animals we've had for pets. Some names have been given. How about names of pets you've had during you life.

Dogs:

Princess Sue Ling No Yo-Yo some Yap-Yap. aka Susie a Pekingese
We Heidi of Bent - aka Heidi a Dachshund
Shorty - a mutt

Cats:

Charles XYZ Whinnybox - Charlie
Samantha K Peabody - Sam
Mr. Abbott and Costello - Abbott and Costello
Fat Rat Black Cat - loved sitting on front porch eating squirrels

Parrot:

Groucho - African Grey Parrot

My first real dog was a stray. I was 12 years old. She had a lot of collie in her. She wandered up to me and I got a fresh loaf of bread from the kitchen. She at the whole loaf. I named her "Hungry."
 
Dogs:
TC- Black Poodle (Worst Dog EVER)
Sasha - BEST Black Poodle EVER
Gotti - yellow lab/pit mutt (Great Dog...miss this guy everyday)

Presently have: Lilly - black pit mix mutt - (rescue that lived 2+ years on the street so she is the WORST Scavenger of food EVER, literally moves from Trash can to trash can ...but a very sweet girl)
Lucci- Havanese (Only other male in our house AND HES A SQUATER....def a BETA) **This breed is crazy, he gets like 20 min of energy daily....and it happens to between 3am-4am so he scratches me to wake me up 🤬 but literally the rest of the day, he just chills by himself. He like lives his OWN life. Doesn't really interact much with anyone and doesn't care (very similar to a cat).

My wife choose BOTH of Lilly and Lucci and they are sweet BUT AWFUL dogs. They may be the 2 dumbest living dogs.

:ROFLMAO: - Yeah, IM NO BETA so.....none of those fuckers.

(also im allergic to them 🤣)
 
My first dog as a kid (5) was a black lab (Mack).

First dog the wife and I got together while we were still living in Columbus was Brutus.

It's funny how many animals name themselves like Hungry. Samantha K Peabody, above, was named that because as a kitten she peed everywhere.

I can relate to dumb dogs. My brother had an English Sheepdog named Wilbur. He was the dumbest dog ever. When it rained, Wilbur would sit in the yard and whine while being drenched. He ran away one day and no signs went up or any attempt at finding him happened.

Kids named both

13 yr old choc lab who passed 2 yrs ago this month was a Winston (best dog I’ve ever owned and slept at my sons bedside from the day he was born :cry:
 
My dads last 4 labs were Miller, Mollie, Maggie and Mose. I got one of his puppies and said I should name him Magic. I named him Brah. Also had a pet raccoon as a kid appropriately named Bandit.

12 year old Shi Tzu Wimbley - named after the Yellow Fraggle

9 year old ShinTzu Max - where the wild things are

6 month old Maltipoo - Sir “Bowie” Van Fleetwood - goes by Bowie. Named after Sir Elton, David Bowie, Van Halen, Fleetwood Mac
