Oh happy day - no more math and reading lessons - just a life of crime

Just a couple of decades ago this sort of legislation (new educational guidelines that say you don't have to pass math or reading exams, or that matter even show the fuck up in school - you will still get a diploma) would have been laughed out of the House. Today, it is being embraced by the house. Like President Reagan said "We are never more than one generation away from extinction." No shit. We're serving it up to our children.

How in the hell can educators and politicians even give a glimmer of goodness to an educational policy that basically says you can graduate and still be totally uneducated. You don't have to know what 2+2 is and you don't even have to be able to read this sentence.

Please leave with our diploma and build for yourself a life of crime, dependency and hatred for those above you who did learn to add numbers and did learn how to read and by some racist force now have everything you ever wanted but you don't have. Go kill them since you allowed them to fuck you out of having a life worth living. Oh, and by the way, but sure to pass that hatred along to your 6 kids and 6 different women you never married. Rot face down in the garbage dump you have carved out as a home.

But think of the upside. If the dog in your avatar moves to Oregon, it could become a voting high school graduate. But I guess it would suffer from discrimination since it is white.

I can think of a few on this board that would have a high school diploma instead of a GED if this would have been implemented several years ago.
