MA voters approved a ballot initiative in 2016 that bans eggs that came from hens with less than 1.5 sqft of floorspace. The new law takes effect on January 1st, and it's estimated that the law would ban about 90% of the eggs for sale in MA. "We have to pass it to see what's in it."
