NFL adopts XFL Kickoff rules - Thoughts?

I'm personally happy just to see the ball returned versus a fair catch every time. The previous rule changes all but erased the Kickoff return and excitement it brings to the game.

Apparently, even the NCAA is looking into it.

The motivation is to have a returnable kick but without players sprinting downfield, which has often led to injuries.
