67 - I've had two, 7 years apart.
No issues either time.
They said come back in 7 years, but I'm probably done.
However, I had an acquaintance that went through years of misery from colon cancer.
His regret was that he didn't catch it early.

So I take it your advice would be to just go through with it. I would if the damn VA weren't so incompetent at times. I had already set the procedure with them for June 3rd. But now it appears they never set the date and I had to call them back and during the call they disconnected me, so now I have to call and try again. Its so damn annoying.
