Whats up everyone? How is the work week going?

We have a doctor concerned about blood clots and the vaccine

We found out that more than 50% of the people in UK that are reported as Corona-virus admissions were actually admitted for something else

Is anyone watching the Olympics? Its the least interested in an Olympics I have been in my lifetime. Probably because I watch less TV than ever and am just not interested in the woke athletes.

Stock market down a few points, but its pretty much at all time highs. Tsla reported earnings yesterday that came in OK and we have APPLe and GOOGL after the close today. SHould be market movers ... probably higher. The market is a freight train right now, don't get in its way.

Yeah I find myself intentionally avoiding the olympics because I just know it will be overflowing with woke and white man bad.

Taking my car to get serviced this morning and then meeting with a couple of good friends at lunch concerning job prospects.

I bought an X Box Series S (not the newest gen) this weekend and got Game Pass - it’s fucking awesome and I’ve been playing Halo Master Chief Collection - so much fun

Have a good one everybody. Football season is so close!

Rocking it out this morning. Have 2 offers in on houses that I should find out about today (oh shit if I get both). Also about 2 hours in at the Day job.

I miss having time to video game. Red Dead Redemption was probably the last game I got to play extensively. And I had to borrow a PS3 to play that.

Nice -I assume if both offers are accepted you have some outs? What is real estate like in your area? Bidding wars / people paying over offer?

Chilling with my dog atm, blazing after a night of work & a long leashless walk.

Have not watched 1 second of the olympics, but am cutting way back on tv in general. Got rid of cable. Do not watch any tv news at all...do still watch streaming shit, but trying to do less of that, and more getting out & living life. Feelsgoodman

1 is on the MLS and we put in an inspection contingency because we are questioning the foundation, so we have that for an out. 2nd is a wholesaler deal on a house I checked out yesterday. I really liked it. I'll take them both if we can make it happen. My partner has a good relationship with a local bank so money won't be the issue (knock on wood). Getting them done in a timely manner with contractors busy as shit right now will be the issue. We did 75% of the work on the 1st house, and maybe 25% on the 2nd. Striving for 0% from here on out. Need to up my dollar per hour rate, and painting houses ain't how I'm going to do it.

Yes, it's stupid crazy right now here. Live in Central Kentucky, and the 2 rentals we have now are in Louisville. Wholesale deal is in Louisville, MLS deal is closer to home. Properties you could buy in the hood 2 years ago in the teens are now in the 30's. Wholesale deal I put a bid on would probably have been 80K 2 years ago, they were asking 120K obo. Foreclosure auctions are nuts. Last one I went to in Louisville had 125+ attendees to buy 30 properties.

Have not and will not watched Olympics. Not going to watch or listen to folks denigrate America.

Busy at work. Lawn is growing too fast. Dog took a man size dump this morning. Jumped 4 deer think one was a 6 point but they were 60 yards and it was 520am.

Natural immunity is always better than vaccine. Had covid in jan 19. Will not vaccinate. Will not buy from anyone requiring vaccine.

I already bumped our labor per hr from 50 to 75. Better to be in front of the labor costs and come down than be behind and try to ask for more. So far not one contactor has balked. They are smart and know what is going on mostly.

Good luck. Hope you get both of them.

I think inflation is really driving real estate prices, its a good place to be invested.

Nah he is way to unpredictable. I use to take two dogs yrs ago. I tried taking Cooper but he is just to big and strong to take that chance. His favorite thing is to kill shit. Never seen a prey drive so strong. So I leave him at home. Sometimes on a Saturday ill bring him in but unlike my old dogs he doesn't enjoy the noise and sparks. Which tbh makes sense after my place burned down. Hell he will leave the room every night I start cooking or go inside if I start a barrel fire

Working in a hospital lab, obviously Jane has to stay home. She is lucky that our neighbors across the street are like family and love dogs...they keep her on my 12 hour nights, so she only has a couple 8 hour nights alone each week.

It does suck she can't come to work, I am the only one in there at night. She would just lay by my feet & chill, but it is what it is. She rides in the car & on the boat & golf cart enough to make up for it.

You run the new jon boat yet?
Took it to quenby off 41 Sunday early. Ran 2.5 gallons thru it. No hiccups. So I got a 86lb thrust trolling motor that runs on (2)12v deep cycles in tandem(did not realize when bought) and all new jackets first aid and boat stuff. I had a dream last night I was fishing on it killing them

I bet that little boat will fly with that big ass trolling motor, lol...currents won't be a problem, that's for sure. Will last all day too.

It has a 20hp yamaha on the back. I'm guessing i hit 23-24 mph on smooth glass. I haven't tried the trolling motor uest but yeah it'll fly. I was a tad worried about place like breech inlet and not having enough ass to get through the current but that basted will do it. I'll post pics when I get home
Edit forgot I had one on my cell

Yeah, currents can get wicked through breech inlet...also occasional tarpon swimming through there, though. At least, that's the rumor.

I've lived here since 2004. I've seen 2 in the harbor near crab island/shem and once just inside breech near first docks as you come in. I couldn't believe it but some buddies fish for them and may get 1 a yr. Man what a thrill that would be. I used to fish the keys and they are abundant down there. Never got one though

I lived down there 15 years ago or so. We always talked about trying for tarpon, maybe at bulls bay or the Georgetown jetties, but you could fish every day for a week and maybe jump 1 if you were skilled as well as lucky...we'd rather go fight with some big redfish. Tons of those all over the place down there.

Agreed. My buddies are guides so they always fish. When they go for themselves they want the biggest challenge. Tarpon are elusive. I've seen people catch them but never have. I'd rather creek fish or hit the ledge and get Mahi wahoo or tuna. Nothing better than a nice Mahi and shrimp spread you caught that day. I am so stoked I got another boat

@Cre8ive I know how much you love our woke athletes. I apologize in advance, this thing is from South Carolina and .... im just sorry to have such a shitty representative of our country. We will try to do better in the future.
