My buddy played for him and hal mumme at Valdosta State. They weren't very structured at practice except for the offense. He told me. If you wanted to stretch and warm up get dressed and do it early on you time if not then dont. There were a lot of things that were different. No cool stories but that they would have a good time with the guys. then he transferred to UCF. I never even thought about it until Mike died and Ryan told me or reminded me of that.

Needless to say Mike leach is a true national treasure. He was absolutely great. I miss him. I looked forward to Dusty and Danny playing his press conferences each week.

I agree with both of these takes. Adam lied/exaggerated about what happened and Craig used his clout to put pressure on Leach but Leach made his bed when he told the chancellor to go fuck himself. The whole situation was such a damn shame.
