Nope, it is real.
It’s impossible to find cyber security people right now. My company (I believe we are in the same industry) has a couple new high-priced people but I’m getting the idea that they don’t know anything except for how to draw a block diagram with some acronyms.
The other side of the fence pays better?
I think that side of the fence would require people who actually know how to do something.
Life contains no shortage of fundamental brutality inflicted upon the weaker by totalitarian overlords that have a black hole for a heart. Not even the demons of hell will get near them. They transcend horrific aberrations of insanity.
