@AmericanViking don't be a bitch. I'm not 100% right about all of this but neither are any of you. Everyone is brainwashed to a degree. I know what I did and I knew it while I was doing it. I killed people who lived in a different part of the world, under a different flag, who worshipped a different God, all to the benefit of someone who never fought a day in their life nor will they ever. I probably had more in common with the people I fought than the people who were benefitting from my actions. But I'm still here and that's what my primary motivation was at the time. If I live, I will kill you. If I die, you are forgiven. The rule of honor. I wouldn't call the people I fought with "brainwashed doofbags" either. Most of them were there because they didn't have other options. Everyone who fights has to be brainwashed to some degree, because even a child can kill someone with a weapon. It's a fool's errand.
