I sell functional parts on ebay. I have another printer (that should have arrived over a month ago) and I have custom designed art that will printed on that printer and sold on etsyWhat platform you using OP?
All of the sales today were functional parts I designed. I do not currently rent out printer time for customers to give me models to print. I wouldn't be opposed to it, but I just don't know how to market it.Do you print parts for people? How did you make the money, or were you being facetious?

I have 3 printers. $600, $1500, and $200. Everything above was printed on the $600 printer but could be done on a cheap $250 printer (albeit at a slower speed). It's really only a matter of having a niche product idea or series of product ideas that you are skilled enough to model in 3D CAD that has enough demand people will buy it but not so much it is picked up by a large manufacturing plant in china. What's the cost of the printer you're using and cost of supplies into each item? Can be a general estimate if you don't want to disclose exact figures. Thinking it might be a good investment.
I do some ebay selling as well. Will be doing some research on 3d printing this weekend. Thanks.I have 3 printers. $600, $1500, and $200. Ive also sold on ebay for many years. Never any heavy selling, but enough to understand how it works.
