no correlation

But I did keep a eye on them and they nearly took over my back yard now. It's not sap, in the one, it's just rain water that gets trapped in there and then gets pushed back out as the thing grows. It also makes them turn blackened so thats why some of the white puffer mushrooms are black because they start out white then they turn black when the rain and dirt get trapped in them.

I found these in my backyard yesterday. I can't find anything on the internet that shows shrooms producing sap...

That last image almost looks like a Lions Mane.

Are there any coniferous trees (*eg: pines, firs, junipers, hemlocks, etc) nearby where you found these?

And did you happen to notice the soil conditions? Bone dry or perhaps waterlogged?

Coz, (apart from the last image) they look pretty similar to Bleeding Tooth fungi, and if so, the reddish jizz they're secreting would probably be due to osmosis from the root system being in waterlogged conditions.

If these are Bleeding Tooth fungi, then they wouldn't be poisonous. Although ya prolly won't wanna go eatin' 'em coz they're extremely bitter.

I'm good. The people in the mountains were destroyed though. I visited there on Monday, can't even get into the danger zones. Alot of people trapped up there and there was no cell signal up there past a point.
