I have 2lbs of 16-20 Gulf shrimp. Peel and devein. Add the shrimp to a 1/2 cup of salt and 10 cups of water to brine. Let brine for 30 minutes.

Sauté the shrimp shells in EVOO until red and then add enough water to cover, a handful of peppercorns, and a bay leaf. Bring to a boil, reduce to a very low simmer, and let go for 20-30 minutes.

Went to do the prep, looked in the fridge, and all of the broccoli I got at Caputo’s yesterday was gone. My daughter plowed through it last night. Fuck!!!! My 23-y/o college grad son is here so I sent him to the store. 23 year old walking hard ons are easily bribable.

I got tons of guys I know that would buy em. Literally dozens of pals and more than a few joints.
If you wanna try to put a route of fire on the road it goes both directions. I have two strong mom and pops to mediums. If commitment is the frig trucks I'd say in 18 hr split shift . Butt fuck Beetlejuice aye?

How are you surviving the winter @Nape? Heard you guys have had a couple of decent storms lately.
We have. We got about a foot last Wednesday.

I’ve spent most of the winter in Naples and Cali. Heading out tomorrow for the next two weeks in Cali. No family though. They are Naples bound on the weekends. I’ll meet em there a week from Friday.

Add about a cup of really good EVOO into a large pot. Heat over super low (2-3/10). Add the garlic and shallots and cook over that low heat for about 10 minutes. We wanna flavor the oil.

Add the shrimp to the oil/garlic/shallots and cook til pink on each side but not done. Keep the heat to about 3/10 as we don’t wanna burn the aromatics or the shrimp.

Remove the broccoli and add 1.5 cups of the shrimp stock and a cup of dry white. I used Pinot Grigio. Let that come up to a simmer. Check for seasoning as that broth is going to be cooked into the pasta. I added red pepper flakes and a little Himalayan pink.
