• Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

Greatest song opening lyric

(It starts with one) One thing, I don't know why
It doesn't even matter how hard you try
Keep that in mind, I designed this rhyme

You ain't much to look at
You could lose a few
You got saggy titties
But tonight it'll do
Cause I learned a lesson
A long time ago
Beggars can't be choosin'
When the bar starts to close

Did you see any action
Did you make any friends
Would you like some affection
Before i leave again

Lorrie lit a cigarette and smiled and waved the smoke out of her face
With her black hair brown from the summer sun- green eyes looked around the place.

Now Amos Moses waa a cajun
He lived by himself in the swamp

Great thread- almost have to do this by genre

Grateful Dead (as the best band of all time, they get their own genre)

Rat in a drain ditch, caught on a limb, you know better but I know him
Like I told you, what I said, steal your face right off your head

Rap/HipHop

Bitches ain't shit but hoes and tricks
Lick on these nuts and suck the dick
Get's the fuck out after you're done
And I hops in my ride to make a quick run

Classic Rock

So, so you think you can tell
Heaven from hell?
Blue skies from pain?
Can you tell a green field
From a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?

Country (current mood)

I hear people talkin' bad about the way
We have to live here in this country
Harpin' on the wars we fight
And gripin' 'bout the way things oughta be
