My jeep is having the radiator fan replaced and the dealership is paid 35 (out of 42) dollars for a car rental
Not a fan of enterprise rent a car because:
A. Enterprise calls me to schedule a pick up for tomorrow. I give the guy my address he says oh I’m sorry that’s too far for us. Here’s the number to another enterprise. So i call and this I enterprise asks me my address, and I tell them. They tell me perfect that’s within a 10 mile pick up zone.
I asked him if that policy is the same at every enterprise, and she says yes.
I told her that’s odd because the other people made me call you because I was too far yet. They’re 2 miles away from me.
She makes up some excuse about who knows what I say. Look your company blatantly lied to me, so I think y’all should cover the seven bucks stats the car dealerships not
They tell me they can’t do that blah blah blah but they’ll give me a quarter tank of gas. I told him that’s not the point the point is somebody lied to me and nobody cares.
Nonetheless, they told me they would pick me up tomorrow. When they called me earlier today, I was excited because I get to have a vehicle.
They tell me I want is my insurance information, my debit card and someone else’s phone number as a contact. So they come and pick me up and I’m enjoying the Chevy Colorado they pick me up in which was fairly surprising how much I enjoyed riding in that.
When I get there, I’ll give him all the information. I need drivers license and debit card, date of birth insurance, lady, friends, phone number, etc..
So the difference is eight bucks and I hand them my debit card. Apparently they freak out I can’t take it because my name is not on the card. They look at me and was like do you have a credit card and I said not on me you told me my debit card would work so I didn’t grab my wallet I grab things I needed. Manager bitch tells me well. What do you want us to do and I said “I guess take me home.”
Psych I’m sorry I told her it’s OK it’s not your fault. “On the way home, Do you mind if your driver stops really quick so I can run into the grocery store and grab something to eat and drink since I won’t have a vehicle for four days.” She says “we can drop you off at the H-E-B but we’re not gonna wait.” I like her and say “well then how am I supposed to get home?”
She says “we’re not a taxi service.”
I look at her and say “well, you’re obviously not a rental car place either.”
She gets all butt hurt and offended, and I look at her and say “ pardon me for wanting to get something to eat and drink since I won’t have a vehicle for four days because you’re can’t figure out a way around a seven dollar debit card charge.” Tell her you’ve been very helpful and really wonderful to work with and I recommend you to all my colleagues and friends and family.” on the way home. I get the driver to stop anyway.
