I am leaning towards Reagan, if I remember my history correctly, didn’t Eisenhower start the military spending then warned about the military industrial complex? I don’t think we need this direction now.

ironically we need Paul Voekler to come in and raise interest rates, like he did under Carter. Not give a damn what the fat cats want. Will be painful but will turn around he economy.

Eisenhower was always protecting the Nation, it was said when he flew into Russia on a state visit it was a military airfield they landed on and while they were landing he was taking photos of the installation. He was a Chrysler lover and used them for his Presidential car, he can't be all that bad can he. Our national debt when he assumed office was like 38 billion, he was already warning us that we were going broke. He would crap his fatigues if he could see how bad it is today. We have a house speaker guilty along with the highest military officer of high treason, and I'm going to wait before I pass judgement because it just seems so outrageous that they all could be so dipshit crazy as to chance the hangman's rope. On the other hand that dip shit bitch pelosi is crazy and it sounds like she would be crazy enough to ask for the suitcase. I hope she and the general hang if it is true, it's about time we demand accountability from the people we enrich with so many privileges. There is no mystery as to why we cannot win wars with the likes of what we see in DC.

I guess when you had no TV or radio you weren't aware of what was being said or done in DC. My entire life until I joined the Army I never lived in a house with air conditioning. Never had a colored TV until after the Army. A few places I lived used those large ceiling box fans that had the vents that opened and closed when on or off. If you were young and walk under the fan it would lift you up like you suddenly became a bird and weightless. Just imagine a coke being 5 cents and the bottle return was 2 cents ! I read a gas bill my Grandmother had kept in 1956, the bill was 4 dollars. No one was not working in the 50s and food was a give a way. We still had fruit and veggie wagons mule or horse drawn come down our streets twice a week. They were still selling block ice produced from one large ice plant on the lower north end of Downtown Houston, ,most small businesses that needed refrigeration were still buying block ice. Fresh clean nice smelling saw dust was being thrown down on wooden floored businesses to keep it clean smelling. All the stores we shopped had wooden floors, and hell of a nice kiddie corral that all us kids would sit and read comic books while the women shopped. The good stores handed out Indian head bands and a dyed feather. I wish I could go back to those times instead of watching all this garbage and treason taking place in our government. A good house cleaning is in order or we will soon be extinct.

Ike.

Build infrastructure and get the military industrial complex under control.

BTW, Reagan and his henchmen fired the greatest engineer of the 20th century, Admiral Hyman Rickover, just to appease his buddies at the Electric Boat Company (i.e. military industrial complex).

Admiral Rickover was trying to prevent the taxpayers from getting straight up fleeced to pay for bad welds on nuclear submarines.

The Reagan Administration forced the retirement of this great man.
