Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).
College football week 12!

Bar none the best 3 loss team in the nation. We are in the driver seat for the outback bowl.
There was a lot of buzz about the Gamecocks still having a chance at making the Playoff even with 3 losses entering this week. While it was far from a convincing win, it was a victory over a ranked Missouri squad.
Look, they’re going to need some help. A win over Wofford next weekend won’t move the needle at all.
But in the final week of the regular season, they get to face a ranked Clemson team on the road. That would be a huge win.
Some other top teams will need to lose, but South Carolina has to be considered a dark-horse CFP threat at this point. We’ve seen chaos in the college football ranks before.

I have to admit, the chicken fuckers are having a WAY better season than I thought they would. Honestly, I like the aggressiveness of the coaching staff. They used their TO's effectively going into the half to create 2 scoring opportunities. QB play has also gotten better (shows they can develop players). Beamer is about as cool as a hot lump of coal, but he's showing he can coach.
The Strom Thurmond of the SEC (Mark Stoops) would never do something so wild as to try and score points. Hence the reason UK will be one of 2 SEC teams that can't even win six fucking games to make a shit bowl game.

Yeah we've grown up a ton.. I think if our QB of today was given the same leeway he is getting now-we would have beaten LSU and Bama. Both those game we can make a case of bad sec officiating. Our defense is no joke. No one wants to play South Carolina right now. I really think we can play w anyone tooday
I'm concerned about the Kentucky game next weekend. Beat Ole Miss and played Georgia and Tennessee close. Hoping we don't try and sleepwalk through another game. Yesterday was dicey down the stretch.
Thing is, UK has played better on the road. But they shit the bed against USCjrjr, Auburn, and Vandy. But 2 of those 3 teams are having better-than-expected seasons. So it's hard to get a handle on what UK is.
Having 5 OCs in 5 seasons hasn't helped a fucking bit. Just no continuity on that side of the ball.
We shall see. I'll bet UT just to offset some of my anger when UK loses.
I still think Stoops is a good fit at UK.
