UNC was clearly not deserving of a #1 ranking. In fact, had Bama played them two days later UNC wouldn't have even been in the Top 10. They went from #1 to #18 to unranked in two weeks.

I was cheering hard for Bama last night. Penny Hardaway is a huge doosh. Loved him as a player when I was a kid, even wore his shoes when I played for a few years, but now I can't stand the fucking guy. I drove up to Nashville and got a pretty expensive hotel room to watch Memphis/Tennessee and Penny cancelled the game at the last fucking minute because he was going to have to play with half his team after they got COVID. I doubt Tennessee schedules Memphis in basketball again while Penny is there. Thoroughly enjoyed watching Oats jam his BWC down Penny's throat.

Bama looks good so far, glad Tennessee catches them in Knoxville this year. Vols fucking blow in Coleman. Bama needs to tear that dump down and build a legit arena. I do like the new bridge between the law school and Coleman though. The new buildings on the other side of the bridge are very nice. Bama has one of the best college campuses in the South without a doubt. Time to move on from Coleman.

I always hated I missed the UNLV run in the early 90s. That happened a few years before I started watching college ball as a kid. I did get to watch Tarkanian coach but he was at Fresno St. They lost to UAB at Bartow arena, I want to say 99'. I lived in Charlotte mid 90s and went to a bunch of Hornets games, Larry Johnson is one of the best basketball players I have ever seen in person.

I need to watch UNLV. I saw this the other day and I took notice.

Tennessee has the #1 ranked Kenpom defense and plays Arizona Saturday, who owns the #1 ranked Kenpom offense. I think the matchup that decides the game will be on the other end though. Vols have looked absolutely terrible on offense at times but then they have stretches where they light it up. They've played most of the season without their best player (Josiah Jordan James) but when he's played he's looked rusty as shit. Hopefully he's full strength by conference play because I think the SEC is going to be a fucking dog fight this year.

Oats told them to take the funds to build a new arena and to use it for NIL so I think Coleman stands for now

Also we suck so bad our "NEW" coach won more games in our 1st 9 than we won last year!!

It was a weird feeling. Before the season I thought it would take a miracle from God for them to beat Bama and win 10 games. Then they did it and it was disappointing. I came to the conclusion that I'm just an asshole and nothing will ever be good enough. I'll complain if they win a natty. "They only beat Vandy by 40 and had a dozen penalties, pure trash."

I think I picked this behavior from my wife.

I went to HS at Hoover but I live 40 minutes away now. Go to a lot of UAB/Bama games. I worked with Bama basketball at one point and my Uncle grew up with Andy Kennedy so I have a lot of connections to both programs. My stepson is a freshman at a 6A HS, 6'2 at 14 and plays on the JV. I think he has a chance to play college ball if he ends up being 6'6 like the height calculator says, so I take him to as many games as I can he can see what D1 guys look like in person. Only thing that breaks my heart is that if he ends up being good enough he's Bama all the way. Honestly can't blame him because Tennessee has been shit and he's only seen them live a few times. He was so pumped to watch Kennedy Chandler last year in Coleman and KC ended up not playing. He took it personally lol.

Yeah I definitely helped with the shipping. Everything blurs in my mind at times. I’ll remember for sure now.

Tennessee tried but Miller's dad played football at Bama so he was never going anywhere else. Tennessee ended up with Julian Phillips who is probably the best freshman I've seen at UT, so both programs got game changers. That will be the matchup of the season in the SEC IMO.

Tennessee worked Gonzaga in the preseason. Vols pulled away late because Gonzaga had so many fouls. Timme actually had 5 with 18 minutes left but since it was an exhibition he got to keep playing.

BUT I have come to learn (since becoming a King) this is the secret sauce to domination. Take the Gumps for example…..instead of fighting to get back on top of the hill, they realized it’s over and have run to Basketball . Auburn did this too.
