I only mention this because they are following FTX there too. The rumor is that a lot of short sales were somehow turned into tokenized security offerings (TSO's) which were being sold at FTX. The short sellers would hedge their bets by buying these TSO's but the TSO's were themselves shorts, not longs.

So they hedged their shorts with shorts. Brilliant.

So yeah they're expecting a short squeeze. Have been for quite a while, but with FTX blowing up it's looking more likely.
