I will always like the Sega Genesis, I just liked it better growing up than the Nintendo consoles. PS2 was the last system I owned, and playing NCAA fb and baseball on it was always a great way to kill time. Nothing better than taking a school like Wyoming on a dynasty run that would include 15 consecutive natty’s.

We (my brother and I) have literally owned every gaming system that has come out in our lifetimes. Our kids don't realize how good they have it. Games and systems are more expensive than ever and their dads buy all that shit!

I don’t agree with the guys commentary because sega genesis never dethroned anything because SNES was the king during that time

Also he completely ignores n64
You sound like a loser.
What I took from the clip was Atari was the 1st pioneer of the space game/after Pong.
Both systems were great. That's how you get better, competition.
I quit buying after PS2. 500.00 seems excessive to me now.

Oh we fuckin loved the Intellivision. Hell even Dad and mom would play Burger Time with us!

(I'm Name Dropping here.....)
I love it! Same thing, my mother and step father would play as well. They liked the poker game they had for it. Which you could play up to 4 players on. We would spend hours playing it and was one of the few times my family could sit down together and not start bickering. Good memories for sure.

SNES.

Illusion of Gaia
Seiken Densetsu 3 (aka Trials of Mana)
Super Mario RPG
Ogre Battle
Tales of Phantasia
Chronotrigger
Terranigma
Lufia II

Plus all the AAA Nintendo titles. Mario Kart and Yoshi's Island were my favorites.

I also had a lot of fun with the N64 and Ps3.

I skipped the gamecube/ps2 generation. Was just out of high school and really poor. My dad was willing to buy me game consoles as a kid but not after I graduated. I bought my own Ps3 years later.

I have the Switch and I like the visual novels and NSFW games. I've played Nekopara 1 through 3 on it, and I see they have 4 out now so I want to get that. Gal Gun 2 is amazing. I also have a couple of the Senran Kagura games and I played a little bit of Seven Pirates H. I just got the Red Colony Trilogy but haven't had time to play it.

I want to play Starfield but probably not this year or next year. It needs a beefy CPU and GPU and my current rig doesn't meet the requirements. I can't afford a new PC at the moment and next year I need to have my deck dismantled because it's old and I don't think it will be safe much longer. I can't afford to rebuild it so I'll probably just get some steps for the back door. I never use it anyway it was here when I bought the place, so no loss.

Burgertime rules. That could be the best home version of all time. Still have it and break it out occasionally. Same with Poker and Blackjack. But that 40 year old disc controller sucks.

Goldeneye was a great shooter. Probably second best? I also liked Duke Nukem Zero Hour and Doom 64.

IMO the most iconic shooter on the N64 is Perfect Dark.

Excuse me....... I am NOT familiar with game honestly!

But I will say "in todays world" this take has to be true...........

Evidently, Perfect Dark is about a Woman where Bond, is literally James Bond.....a dude. ☹️

I am actually going to defer to yore expertise on this subject as I (somehow???) missed the Perfect Dark game......

I will admit (in this case.....), Im this 👇

It used the same engine as Goldeneye 007 but had more guns, better music, and a better story. You're a secret agent working for the Carrington Institute, which is a high tech R&D firm in competition with DataDyne, a rival high tech company.

It turns out that Carrington is in contact with the Grays (the aliens) and DataDyne is in contact with the reptilians. This is where they both get their advanced technology from. The Grays are fascinated by human culture and want to support us but aren't interested in conquering Earth. The reptilians are really warlike and are trying to assassinate the president and replace him with a clone.

There's a mission where you infiltrate Area 51 to rescue a Gray. There's a mission where you're a bodyguard assigned to protect the president and you have to eliminate the reptilian assassins and terminate the clone.

You storm Datadyne several times. Once to liberate an AI they are working on, and later on to exterminate the reptilians who have taken over their headquarters.

The multiplayer is even better with lots of deathmatch options. King of the hill, mutators, AI controlled bots with multiple settings. You can change what weapons spawn on the map.

Among it's most notable weapons are the farsight XLR, which has an X-ray functionality that lets you look through walls and snipe people (it's one of the few weapons which can shoot through walls). It has a "laptop gun" which you can get past security by looking like a briefcase, but transforms into a machine gun. It can also be deployed as a turret that shoots people automatically. One of Datadyne's guns shoots people like normal but has a self-destruct button that turns it into a grenade you can throw at people. Datadyne also has a gun with homing bullets. It's crazy.

Yea the guy is an idiot. Sega Sucked from Beginning to end. Nintendo was the best until PlayStation 1.

Sounds Awesome......

In our defense, we would go out to bars downtown and then us and 3 apartments next to us would all party all night playing this with volume down jamming to our music. I can probably count the number of times (on one hand) that I've actually played Bond 007 SOBER!! :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

SNES.

NFL 2K graphics on Sega Dreamcast were pretty groundbreaking at the time.
SNES- NHL 95 was the jam.....

Take the puck a skate across in front of the goalie and shoot outside post.....GOAL EVERYTIME.

On SEGA G FIFA.....I perected the trick of blocking and immediately heading the ball into the goal everytime the goalie punts. (My Bro and Buddies all thought I was crazy trying...then it worked :ROFLMAO: )
