Anyone here ever apply a garage floor paint/epoxy kit? What was your experience?

We're moving into the new townhouse in about 2 weeks and I want to put down a garage floor paint/epoxy coating on the floor. If you've done one of these projects, what kit/brand did you use, how easy/difficult was it to apply, and how long did it last? Did you have to do any pre-treatment to the floor? How long did it take to complete the project? Thanks.

I paid the guys that painted our house to epoxy our garage floors. Loved the results and would highly recommend. Much prefer the surface to plain concrete.

Everyone I've ever talked to says "pay the pros to do it"

I did. No complaints.

I would agree with the guys recommending someone else do it. I had our garage resurfaced a couple of years ago. Love the results.
It is almost an art to do the epoxy well. My nieces ex husband did that for work and he could make a floor look like anything you wanted.

The last one is close to what he did for my parents. It almost looks like a cool bowling ball.
