Any Tree Experts on the Forum?

I have really gotten into tree identification lately. Anybody here an expert? I have been posting on reddit to get some tree opinions, but I'd rather post here if one of you folks have the knowledge I seek.

For instance, this tree was recently identified as a Buckthorn. Maybe a Carolina Buckthorn.
(note: the buckthorn is growing out of a cedar tree, which I thought was awesome)

There are fir sure a few apps out there, but the good ones cost money and apparently have a pretty shoddy success rate anyway, so I decided I'd leaf that alone and do it the old fashioned way.

If that really is a Buckthorn, you definitely should not have touched the leaves. Make the most with the 90 days you have left with that hand OP
