Any elected officials on here?

I'm on the school board. Just got elected to my second four year term.

My goals for the next four years:
Adopt some form of conceal carry for teachers
Block any attempts at letting 1619 bullshit in
Adopt 1776 Project
Hire Art Briles at one of our high schools
Add a financial literacy curriculum

Anything I should add?
CIVICS!!!

I know I'm dreaming but damn.

Congratulations! I am not one but here are a few questions/suggestions:

Is the 1776 Project something that includes Civics? If not, introducing Civics is necessary

Kids need to learn about balancing a checkbook and budgets, etc.

Any way to include intro to the trades as well?

Good luck!

I think 1776 is more historical / cultural.

None of that "imperialist" & "colonizer" bull shit. Nothing bothers me more than having to listen to or read about my brother risking life and limb in the South China Sea to protect the freedoms of the people calling him an imperialist. Those people are SICK.

The way the 1619 project confronts the historical nuance of race during our country's early years is exactly the opposite of what I would imagine Dr. MLK Jr. imagined in his Dream speech.
