• Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

Ammo Count

Have been trying to replenish/build up my ammo count here lately.
Just took an “inventory” and have the following # of rounds…
.22 Lr = 2,600
.22. = 500
.380 = 600
9 mm = 1,100
.556. = 1,200
12 Ga.= 75
243/270= 50

Small potatoes to some of you I’m sure. Limits don’t make it easy!
How far behind am I to you all?

That's very impressive to me. My arsenal consist on 4 boxes of 12 gauge shotgun shells and 72 rounds of dum-dum 9mm for my CZK 75S.

First... user name checks out.

second, I lost all my ammo in that horrific boating accident. The same one that all my guns went down with too.

Need more 12 ga., I’d have 1 slug for every 5 buckshot.

I got you beat in everything but .22 lr but I have no idea what I actually have. I don't have .243 but I do have about 500 rounds of .30-06, and no .380 but a couple different .40cal and .45cal are around 1200+.

I need to do a count with prices the way they are. I could probably sell a few 100 .556 and 9mm and make some money. lol.

No comment. My observation on ammo is the noose started tightening quite a while back in anticipation of pushing the voting agenda ...when this happened I realized the jig is up. Something is coming down the pike. that was a very big move. Guns are worthless without ammo. This is an old tactic.

Thanks for letting me know! (And everyone else) 😉
that's not a bad list. change out 9mm for .40 and multiply all your numbers by 4 and i'm in that ballpark. Luckily I built most of my stockpile 6-8 years ago so I didn't have to pay current prices.

edit: this was before the boating accident and I lost it all.
Thanks for letting me know (and everyone else) 😉
I think I have one or two .38 +p rounds and one 9mm in a box somewhere in my closet.

Finally, someone with a brain!
What kind of boat?
Your mom’s labias.
You’re amongst friends here. No federal lurkers here!
But still tho...
I have a 357 SW not sure, probably 3 boxes of 357 and a couple of 380. Got my dads 9mm and probably 2boxes.

If I ever get through a box in defense the world is gone

500 each of 380, 9, 40, 22
800 223
250 7.62
60 30-06
24 12ga

Anyone else starting to see Ammo prices come down? Just got a 1000 rds 9mm brass for .34 free shipping.

It seems to be slowly coming down. Background checks have started coming down a bit too. Sure hope this insanity has peaked. I worry what the new normal price will be, once it bottoms out. I doubt we will see 9mm brass for $8-9 a box, like we did 18 months ago. Hopefully it will get close, though.
