It's obvious to see why big corps and tech companies would move to subtly help "entrench" those in government that i) don't move to bust them up, and ii) help drive the bottom line either through large and/or consistent stimulus/give-aways or elimination of competition (e.g. $15/hr minimum wage).

We've reached an instance where a truly symbiotic relationship exists between the governing party and every major institution of power within the U.S. (big corps, big tech, media, education).

The liberal base's movement to the acceptance of authoritarian control or mob control is what allows this.
