Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

It’s obvious right? But there’s this huge debate going on on Reddit where people are calling people with my view transphobic. Once that happens what’s the comeback? I can’t argue my point anymore I’m just left defending myself and not my views. Just kills the debate at that point.

The debate should go no further than you stating it is unfair for men dressed as woman (or even if they choose to chop off their junk, their chromosones don't change) to compete in woman's sports. When they bring up the BS about so and so identifying as a woman, ask them if they believe in science. Their next answer will be very telling.
This has nothing to do with any kind of phobia. Your opinion has to do with keeping the integrity of woman's sports and allowing men to compete in them takes away from the progress of woman in sports.

Ugly people don’t get better looking after the surgery. It just advertises their mental illness like a neon sign. Sometimes when people get an honest answer, they realize deep down inside, they probably shouldn’t have asked me that particular question. I’m not one to filter much.
