An Alabama high school band director was in for a shock after refusing to stop a musical performance that cops asked him to stop -- and we mean he literally got a shock!

I’d agree that tasing gets a bad rep but it’s not about showing someone their actions aren’t polite. I deal with tons of rude fucks all the time but that doesn’t mean they should be tased.

In this particular case did we need to tase this guy? Couldn’t we just wait until they were done playing then escort him out?

At the end of the game, he refused to follow police orders to stop his band from playing. Then he allegedly got physical with the officers.

They asked him to stop 7 times. Buddy of mine used to coach there, it’s in a rough hood and the cops always try to clear out the stadium after a game. The sooner they clear out the campus, the better. These cops let them play for 18 minutes.

If he touched a cop then he got what he was asking for.

I still don’t understand the thing about the band playing. Even if he runs his kids out on another team’s field after a win then it’s still just a bunch of kids playing their band instruments. The ADs and school admin could have had the whole thing straighten out in ten minutes the next day.
