Ukraine has had about 100,000 casualties to their combat force with about 35,000 KIA

Russia has had about 300,000 causalities with 250,000 being KIA

Ukraine’s goal is to attrit Russia so heavily that they can never again invade Ukraine or another territory and in doing so force Russia out of their lands. Ukraine rightly realizes there can be no diplomacy with Russia. Only total defeat will suffice.
