Officers are following up on a tip reported a few days ago that someone who resembled Laundrie was spotted at a Walmart in Tilman's Corner, Alabama.

A police spokesperson said officers sent the information to the FBI who "is now handling the case to verify" if the person spotted was Laundrie.
